'FREAKOUT' PUBLISHED ON MSN ZONE AND REALONEARCADE

The third title in Smilie's ongoing development for FreshGames LLC has been published on Microsoft's MSN Zone games channel and RealNetwork's RealOneArcade. 'Freakout' is an arcade puzzle game, developed concurrently in two platform versions, Java online and Win32 e-tail installable.

The game is essentially a re-working of old school arcade puzzle favourites Qix and Jezzball. The game starts very simply and easily to engage players but quickly becomes a tempestuous maelstrom of flying and bouncing balls and bombs. The game requires skill and clever strategy in order to becaome a Freakout master!

As with the previous games, the two versions of Freakout were undertaken concurrently over approximately four months of design and development. Freakout is going live over the next 4-6 weeks on MSN Zone, YahooGames and RealArcade and many other high traffic games sites.
